Monoprint. A bottlecap was swirled through the paint. I find I prefer monoprints that don't just remove paint from part of the film, but also build it up in other areas.

Monoprint. The calligraphy effect was created by swirling the flat end of a spoon handle through the paint.

Modern Mongolian, center back. The blue medallion was originally printed with a stamp I carved, in dark blue on white fabric. This didn't fit as well with the overall color scheme as I'd hoped, so I covered it with a barely translucent blue silk and quilted along the edges of the stamped lines, which I believe improved the project immensely
