Come enjoy Crown Tourney at our new, spacious site. In fair weather, a level field with scattered shade will serve as the tourney field. Right beside the field, a very large, open-air, roofed "tabernacle" will be the commons area -- or the indoor list field in case of foul weather.
Combatants for the 50th Crown Tourney
Location: Riverside Park, 717 238th Street, Milford, NE 68405
Site Hours: Open at 6 pm Friday night, closed Noon Sunday
SOMETHING NEW!!! After feast there will be a mini ball held in the Tabernacle. Come join your friends and dance the night away. You can meander between the bardic circle and the dance floor until the wee hours of the morning.
Camping: There's plenty of level, mowed space! There is a permanent fire-ring and a bathhouse (with men's and women's showers [cold-sorry!]& toilets) near the period camping area. Above ground self contained fire-pits are allowed. Modern tents will be near the feast hall (with restrooms) and near additional portable toilets.
The Visitors' Center: For non-campers. There are 4 dorm-style rooms with 10 beds each. Each dorm has 2 showers and 2 toilets. The Visitors' Center also has a large "living room" area which can accommodate those willing to crash on the floor. Beds are available for $2 per bed per night - reservations accepted!
If neither camping nor "dorming" are a possibility, crash space in Lincoln will be available.
For those who might be going into in Lincoln DO NOT try and take West 'O' into Lincoln as Harris Overpass is under construction. There are no motels in Milford but there are some close.
Midday Meal Inn: Simple fare will be available on site for minimal cost.
Inn Menu:
Choice of Chicken and Noodles or Beef Stew
Boiled Eggs
Bread
Choice of Fruit
Lemon Bars or Brownies

For both noon and evening meals, there is a good variety of eateries in the town of Milford which is only about a mile south of Camp Riverside.
Children's Activities: MoC activities will be provided for part of the day. In addition, there is a Game Room Building (pool table, foosball, and ping pong) and a playground (swings, merry-go-round, and teeter-totter). The playground is within sight of the tourney field. The game room will only be available during the tourney. NOTE: Site is essentially surrounded by a river and parents need to keep an eye on their children... depending on age and level of self-responsibility. The playground is about as far from the river as possible...right in the middle of the site.
Classes: A one hour course on the Magna Carta taught by James of Odo will start abour 15 minutes after the tourney ends. Bring something to sit upon. Materials are provided for the class period only. They will be available for purchase by the students following the class.
