Officers:

Seneschal: Calien received the signature card for the Pytt's bank account. Theron can sign off on it and then it will go to the Kingdom Treasurer. NO MOOT ON AUGUST 24TH!!!!!! We want to support Big Red Welcome instead. Please attend BRW!

Treasurer: Theron fixed the charges that had been debited to our baronial bank account in error. He will continue to monitor the statements for any further errors from the bank.

Chronicler: The August Runestaff is available. Aug 27 is the deadline for articles and artwork for the September Runestaff.

Pursuivant: Need voice heralds for Cattle Raids, please let Morag know if you can yell.

MoAS: Still need judges for the A&S entries for Cattle Raids. No point judging will be used. Friday is the Pytt BBQ party. Sashatec and Isabeau are going to go and teach a couple short classes.

Demo Coordinator:
Big Red Welcome - Aug. 24 6:00pm - 8pm Anne will be adding details later. Set up will need to be done by 5:30pm. No parking on R Street. Booth number to be announced shortly.

Largess Coordinator: Soon-to-be Barony of Cair Galen (sp?) largess is due first week of Sept. Colors are blue and gold. Device is a harp. Give largess to Katalina.

Baronage:

• Demo Task Force had it's first 2 meetings this week. Once we have something solidified for the demo kit, it will be distributed to the populace.
• We have officially found nanny service for Nels for Cattle Raids. Thank you to Sabi and Arne, and to Areagne of Lonely Tower for providing toddler wrangling services during the day.
• Please get award recs in for baronial awards for Cattle Raids. Remember, we can now give baronial awards to members of the Bull Pytt as well.
• We are planning on making standards for the Champions but we need mottos. Please submit any clever ideas for mottos for the Champions within the next 2 weeks. It can be in English...we have experts to do Latin translations if needed.

Guilds

Music: 7:30 Thursday night, Aug 14 at Gwyneth and Theron's house.

Scribes: 7:00 at Sabi's house, Aug 15 and 29.

Events

Cattle Raids

• Still need a few volunteers to be in charge of certain areas
• Need things that can drape over modern items. Need period furniture, etc. for ambience. If you're willing to loan it out, please make a list of what you are loaning and put some sort of identification on your item so it gets back to you after the event.
• Feast is a Viking Cold Board with Beef Stew and a second soup, preserved meats, cheeses, veggies, a salad, sweets and a possible bread pudding.

Snowflake and the 7 Boars - Aug 22-24 in Marble Rock, IA. Coeur d'Ennui will be competing with Nordskogan. Should be great fun. Fighters and musicians have been specifically invited to come and participate. Tatjana and Vasilla will not be there with the war drums, unfortunately, due to family obligations.

Conquistador's Folly - Oct 17-19 in Grand Island, NE at the Isaac Walton League Campground. A&S classes are being offered along with tournament fighting and feast. If you'd like to teach something, contact Bristol.
