Moot Minutes

Officers:

Seneschal: 2 Domesdays have been received already, but still need the 4th quarter reports. There was discussion about the need for a 4th quarter vs. a Domesday report. Further investigation will be made regarding the necessity for a 4th quarter for a couple of the offices.

Chronicler: New Runestaffs available. We need submissions of articles and artwork. Deadline for February Runestaff is January 28. Report is in.

Pursuivant: Nothing to report.

MoAS:

• 12th Night: Natalya won the Icon contest, Thedrich tied for first place in the "Rat out your friends" competition, and Jane was inducted into the Order of the Calon Lily.
• Yule Court: An A&S display of QPT entries will be set up. The Bardic Championship will be held. Sashatec will be sworn into office as the new Minister of Arts and Sciences for Mag Mor. Tonight is Philosophy night.

Treasurer: The Pytt has failed to submit a report in a useable electronic format (a single page prints as 6 pages). Alatheia will be trying to fax a hardcopy report to Theron this evening.

Campi: Classes start tomorrow so the next meeting will be held on this coming Thursday and the concentration will be on sewing garb. Items for the auction at Yule Court should be brought to site on Saturday.

Baronage:

• We will be inviting Lonely Tower to our Yule Court as well as the Bull Pytt. May want to bring a little extra food to accommodate our out of town guests. We may also be having visitors from Forgotten Sea.
• There will be no Moot on Janaury 25 (the Sunday following our Yule Court)
• We need to pick a date for our All Thing (after discussion we determined to hold the All Thing at the Easterday Rec Center on the Sunday of March 7 from 6 pm to 9 pm. We will have a potluck supper and discuss the All Thing topics during supper and after. There will be no Fighter Practice that evening.
• Mikhail and Vasilla want to publicly thank all those who assisted them during the day and evening yesterday at 12th Night: special thanks to Calien who gave up court to watch Nels, Sabi who had her first experience with combat scribing while watching Nels, Toli who schlepped a ton of stuff, Shelly who schlepped a ton of stuff and to all those who gave largesse, ran errands, brought us water, and helped us keep track of Nels during our moments of scheduling insanity.

Guilds:

Music: Next practices are: Jan 22, Feb 5 and Feb 19. Instruments will be included. Will be performing at Yule Court.

Scribes: After Moot on January 18th.

Events:

Coronation: Will be held March 6 in Lonely Tower.

Miscellaneous:

• Yule Court: Angelo has fighting planned. Toli, Natalya and Sashatec are scheduled to teach classes.
• All Thing: We are accepting items for discussion (but will also address any items you think of the day of the All Thing). One of the topics is "Why are we a barony?" A web page will be put on the Mag Mor site shortly to show the All Thing specifics.
