Officers reports

Seneschal:

• Officer’s reports are due October 15. Remember to give me a copy as well so that I can get my report in.
• Flier's available for Conquistador's Folly event this weekend in the Pytt.

Treasurer

• We balance.

Herald

• Has had several people doing research on name documentation. Remember there is no reason to rush.

Chronicler

• Runestaff deadline is October 28 at Baronial A&S
  

Marshal:

• No fighter practice until further notice, still working on indoor fighting site.
• looking at carpooling up to Lonely Tower on Tuesdays for their fighter practice.
• Starting Jan 2 practice will be on Tuesday nights at the M&N building.
• A change had to be made in teh prior announce new Knights Marshal, the new Knights Marshal is Bristol. He will take office at Baronial A&S.
• (editor's note): there will be fighter practice this Wednesday, Nov. 1st, from 6-9pm at the Easterday Rec Center, at 6130 Adams St. (Basically just north of Northeast High School).

Archery Marshal

• Practices continue with lots of attendance. There is now a $2 charge to be paid by each archer. These goes to Prairie Bowman for the use of their space. To wave this fee buy a membership into Prairie Bowman.
• On November 1 Archery moves to Wednesday nights at 9pm.

A&S

• no report

Interest groups

• Scribes will be meeting 10/27, 11/10 and 11/17 7:30-10pm at Isabeau and Carlo's house
• Vocal Music will be practicing 10/19 and 11/2 at 7:30 in the Union on UN-L city campus. This is just prior to Scarlett Keeps meetings. Look at bulletin board to verify room
• Middle Eastern Drumming will be meeting 10/23, 11/6 and 11/20 starting at 7:30 at Marianna & Scipio’s house.

Baronage report

• Yule Court bids are needed. Deadline is 11/7. We are looking at December 2 as the date.
• On January 3rd Moot will be moving to Wednesdays but still at Bennet Martin Library. We may have to find a different location for the 3rd Wednesdays of the month in Jan, Feb and March.

miscellaneous:

• Dwolm will be the Marshal in charge (MIC) for Conquistador's Folly. He has several marshalls lined up for the day.
• Much fun was had by His Excellency Callaghan, Daelin and Dwolm at Diamond Wars. Dwolm was asked to sing "Hail the Striking Falcon" while there.
• Antone made small shuttles for all those doing any weaving.
• This will be the 10th year of Mag Mor Trick or Treating for the Food Bank.
  -start at 6pm on Halloween night at Volkmar and Isadora's house
  -group will be divided up into smaller groups
  -bring wagons if you have then
  -hot things will be served when you are done back at Volkmar and Isadora's
  -Dwolm is interested in having a second group trick or treat for the food bank in his neighborhood.
• Yule Court is going to have a raffle to raise money for the Barony.
  -lunch for 6 done by Master Bran and Mistress Gywenth.
  -place setting for done, pottery done by Baroness Vasilla
  -napkins for 4 done by Lady Sabi
  -an empty bottle from HL Theron to be filled at a later date
  -an empty bottle from Lord Carlos and Lady Isabeau to be filled later
  -feast box done by HE Callaghan
  -a beginners feast set donated by Lady Leofwyna
  -truffles from Lady Sabina
  
• Baronial A&S championship will be on October 28th. Lady Aibhilin will be the Event Steward.
  
  • Site opens at 10:30am closes at 8pm at the Unitarial church 6300 A
  • strongly encouraged donation of $3/individual and $5/family
  • Lady Marianna is in chanrge of the silent auction.
  • There will be a brewing competion held by HL Theron
    -judges are needed
    -extra points given if the entry is black or orange in color
    -extra points given for documentation (a couple points for really good docs)
  • There will be a Grim Reaper Tourney
  • Our Tri-level A&S championship will be held
    -documentation can be either written or verbal, copies of references is encouraged.

• HL Sashatec reports that our villaged has been pillaged and almost burned out. All the Master craftsmen have been removed. What remains is 6 sheep, some fat and some clay.
  Come to Master Gerald's farm, Cedarwood Farm on April 21, 2007 for the PILLAGED VILLAGE event. Come and rebuild what was lost.
  This will be a 2 day, hands-on, ground-up event for all interested artisans.
  The plan is to work with making soap, felt, wool, and wood.
  There will be a documentation competition. Bring the documentation for your dream project. More info to come.
