Officers reports
Pursuvant-Lady Rosa:
- Have been working with several members to get names and devices submitted. Lucius and Lady Beatrix have submitted both name and device. Villjahmer and Gyda have made name submissions. A big thank you to Lord Maximillian for his help with research
- Court report from the revel held on August 5th. Two Cambroges were given out but the recipients were not present scrolls will be given at Cattle Raids. (shhh). An Ancaire was give to Maxmillian Von Kleve, Eric the Quiet and Volkmar Katzbalger. Adharc Ors were given out to Brianna the Fair, Daelin Airinbjorn, Becthe von Ziederholzburg and
Patrick Davenport. Mistress Gwyneth Espicier was the recipient of a Golden Feather.
Knight’s Marshal-Lord Bristol:
- Fighter Practice continues on Tuesday evenings at Wood’s Park starting at 7pm. Last week there were 4 fighters present.
A&S-Mistress Vasilla:
- Beginning Sewing, August 1, 2007: taught by HE Vasilla Krasnaia
This was a class in the guise of making largess for the Barony in the form of loaner garb.
We discussed and cut out the fabric for several coifs, gored tunics and chemises, breeches, and sideless surcoats.
Attending were: Viljalhmer Half Troll, Gyda Glora, Lady Beatrix Funteyn, Ailis an Ruagaire, Lord Gryphon of Mag Mor, HE Isadora of Orange Woode, Antone of Mag Mor, Kathrine of Mag Mor, Kimberly, Lady Leofwyna le May, Lady Marianna Stellamaris (to kibitz), Lord Carlos Xavier de Cadiz (to kibitz), Lady Isabeau Jehanne, Alethea (to kibitz), Diana, Master Gerald Goodwine (to kibitz), and Karina.
- There will be no A&S on Wednesday August 15 due to Moot being called.
- There will be a sewing day to constructed what was cut out on the 1st.
Come sew on August 19 starting at Noon until 5pm.
Location is HE Mistress Vasilla’s house 5411 Canterbury Lane.
Chronicler-Lady Aibhilin:
- Deadline for the next issue is August 28.
Chatelaine-Lady Marianna:
- Received an email from interested people located in Fairbury, NE.
Archery Marshal-HL Robert:
- There will be no archery practice August 22.
- An outdoor practice has been added to give the opportunity to shoot some IKAKs. The Crown has requested more IKAKs be shot.

Guilds:
- Scribes: Meeting 8/10, 8/17 and 9/21 at 7:30pm. Carlos and Isabeau’s apartment. Working on both Kingdom and Baronial preprints.
- Music:
Meeting every Thursday evening until Cattle Raids. Starting at 7pm. Volkmar and Isadora’s house.
Interest Groups:
- Middle Eastern Drumming: Meeting at Fighter Practice. Leofwyna will be there to teach 8/21, 9/4, and 9/18. She can attend every other Tuesday. Drummers are meeting on the off Tuesdays at fighter practice to practice together.
Baronage report:
- Thanked everyone who attended the Revel on August 5.
- Some deadlines are coming up:
- Baronial A&S will be in October, tentative date of October 20. Bids for this event are due by August 29.
- Yule Court will be in December. Bids for this event are due by September 26.
- We are required to put a bid in for Spring Crown which is May 3, 2008. Bids for this event are due by October 24.
- If you are interested in placing a bid for any or all of these events or have questions on how to go about being an Event Steward please contact Lady Sabi or TE Calien and Callaghan.
miscellaneous:
- Cattle Raids will be Aug. 24-26. Lady Eleanor Drayeson is the Event Steward.
- The walk thru of site has been done. A map of site can be found here.
- tentative schedule is:
- Baronial shoot 9am, then open shoot until 4pm
- 9:30am the to peerages set on vigil
- Oz and JM have a lot of fighting planned. To start sometime in the AM
- The Inn will be in the A&S tent and will run from 11:30 to 1:30ish. It will be for the first 150.
- A&S show & Tell 2:00. The competition is a BULL in any medium.
- Bardic Competition in the building at 3:00
- Court 5pm
- feast 7pm
- Bardic fire circle 10:00pm
- set up will start on Friday at noon.
- Bar will open at 2pm until 10pm
- There is to be no sleeping in the building. We have to have all of our stuff out Saturday night as there is a trap shoot scheduled at 9am Sunday morning. editor’s note: the trap shoot is in the area beside the building so please be aware of this on Sunday morning as we are packing up.

We will be having Moot on August 15. Each steward is to have a list of those who volunteered to help them and a list of what they still need.
- Coronation is September 8, 2007.
We need to provide a clean up crew for the event.
