Seneschal
-We have received one bid for Cattle Raids.  More are welcome.
  Date of the event:  8/23/08

-Finance Committee is meeting right after Moot.  We will be discussing the
 Crown 2009 bid received from Lady Sara Sophia, the Cattle Raids bid received 
from HL Murdoch and Lady Emelye and Web Page stuff.

-We will be having Moot April 30th to finalize plans for Crown and to work on JAV.

-Rayya is getting married June 21st at 2 in the afternoon.

-Letters of Intent for Seneschal and Knight’s Marshall are due May 28th to
 the seneschal or the Baronage.

-Moot and A&S for June 11-July 9 will be at Walt Library

Officer Reports
A&S:  There will be no A&S on the 30th. Gerald will teach about paint 
brushes later in the summer.  
There will be A&S activities going on at Crown.

Herald:  Letter from Max read by Vasilla

Marshal:  fighter practice moving outside May 6th.  Going to Wood’s Park,
 by the pool on 33rd street starting at 6pm until dark.

Archery Marshal:  Adding an outdoor practice starting May 7th.
  The outdoor practices will be on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month 
from 6-8pm.  Indoor practices will continue every Wednesday starting at 8:30pm.

Chronicler:  Deadline April 28th for May/June issue.

Baronage:  Help out where you can during Crown tourney.
Reminder that at the Finance Committee meeting the vote is my membership but
 all are welcome to attend meeting.

Sash & Kat:  Lonely Tower is doing a lot to help out with the investiture. 
 Will be sitting in State.  It was agreed that they should use the 
Baronial sunshade.  All are welcome to come and give their words of advice
 and/or encouragement.

Events
Crown:  May 3
-Baronial gear out to site, need transport.  Toli, Zino, Eulilia volunteered.
-need a breakfast assistance.  Jane and Angelo volunteered.
-set up to start at noon on Friday
-will be using the fire ring by the dorms
-need to move benches for court need 6-8 people to move
-Kitchen clean up will happen Saturday 4/26 10am
-pre-cook Sunday 4/27 1:00.  Pre-cooking pies
-take down help needed on Sunday, off site by noon.
-sign up for helping troll.  Troll open 6pm Friday to 2pm Saturday
-let Gwyneth know if you are helping in the kitchen
-we do have a rain plan
-Lady Tamison is in charge of crash space in Lincoln
-Need water bearers, talk with Aibhilin
-stuff for silent auction, speak with Gyda
-court at 5:30, merchants will have to cover or move stuff
-decoration-Natalya is purchasing Annuals for the tables.  You can purchase
 one to keep from her for $1 
-the Inn needs coolers.  Vasilla and Isadora are each bringing large coolers
-the Inn will have $3 meal deals

JAV:  May 17
Sign-up sheets for various jobs sent around
Will finalize things on the May 14th Moot
Need to find out when Ballard is coming to Moot.
Need something to replace the sheep to shawl exhibit

Lilies:  44 days until gate opens
-Mag Mor troll Saturday Noon to midnight, sign up with Ailis
-Fire Guild troll Sunday noon to midnight, sign up with Gyda
-speak with Rosa about joining the team for Mag Mor doing camp cries
-Gladiator Tourney-fighting like last year with 2-3 minutes of entertainment 
between bouts
-need someone to coordinate the Mar Mor Camp (Sabi has volunteered)
-doing meal group as before need coordinatior (Zeno volunteered)
-Zeno’s wedding will be 1st Sunday at 4pm

Other: Fire guild meeting Sunday 4/27 1-? To finish arm bands

Finance committee:
8 members present
Cattle Raids bid discussed.  Kat motioned to accept as written, Theron 2nd
	6 votes yes
Crown 2009 bid discussed.  Bid was amended.  Kat motioned to accept bid as 
amended, Emelye 2nd.
	7 votes yes
Scarlett Keep bill for Fighter practice.  Keep is short $125 to pay for location.  

This is from fighter practice getting canceled and not being about to cancel having

 room.  Angelo and Callaghan reported on cooperate policy which states that whatever the

 finance committee agrees to be for the best interest of the group can be paid for.

  It was discussed that a better way for the fighters to cover their 
location cost was needed.  That discussion tabled.  Sabi motioned to pay this 
bill with a return to the discussion at a later date, Emelye 2nd.  
	6 votes yes.
After leaving library most of Finance committee met out front of library to 
discuss with Sash and Kat the need to purchase serving dishes for the 
barony.  It was decided that it was not an urgent need as we can borrow 
items for crown.  It was advised to bring this topic back to finance committee.

Finance committee will meet again 4/30/08 after moot.
