Officers:

Seneschal:

• March Warden is scheduled for March 13 and 14 for those interested in going.
• Spring Thaw is really Spears of Spring and is rescheduled for April 17.
• Crown/Coronation rotation for Mag Mor: We'll need a Crown bid for May 2005 and a Coronation bid for March 2006.

Chronicler: Deadline for the March Runestaff is this Wednesday (2/25).

Pursuivant: No report.

MoAS: Sabi and Sashatec are working on the Baronial A&S Championship. Former winners should encourage 10 people to enter the level they've won. There may be some armored combat for the fighters that will promote A&S. Judges will be from outside of the barony and each level will have a team of judges (one team for novice sciences, one team for novice arts, one team for intermediate sciences....) to level the playing field as much as possible.

Treasurer: We've received the bill for the Women's Center for our Yule Court event. Theron will send check asap.

Campi: Meetings still on Thursday evenings at City Campus Union. If you have an idea for something for Campi to do during the meetings, please let Archana know. Spring break is the week of March 17 (no meeting that week for Campi).

Marshall: Jean Michelle was Huscarled at Estrella War.

Demo Coordinator: Demo this past week went well (At Morley School). Natalya, Thedrich, Callaghan, Leofwyna were there.

JAV: There will be more organization this year. Date will be May 22. There will be pre-mapping for the layout for better traffic, pre-scheduling for better use of our personnel resources.

Blue & Gold Demo on March 14 at the Noah's Assistant Dogs on Highway 33. This is a Sunday at 7 pm. No moot that evening so go to the demo!

Baronage:

• Herd Master will be scheduled for April 25 (Sunday after Lonely Tower's Spring Fling). All bids due no later than February 29.
• Read thank you notes from Their Royal Majesties from the scribe brush holders and from Their Excellencies Lonely Tower for the largess given at Twelfth Night.
• Need Cattle Raids bids (editor's note: all bids due by March 31). Date tentatively set for September 18. Vasilla will do some checking with Reeve regarding Cattle Raids dates.
• Lilies Tent: We will be renting a tent at Lilies. We will discuss funding with Financial Committee this evening. Next week we will decide as a group on whether to have walls (at an additional charge) for the tent. (editor's note: 30 X 30 tent has been requested as of Feb. 23, walls are $22.50 per 40 ft section). We will need to do a volunteer thing again for the privilege of renting.

Guilds:

Music: Music has been set for James Arthur Vineyards (JAV). Rehearsals will be held March 11, 25 and every Thursday in April and May until JAV.

Scribes: Kestrel scrolls are needed as soon as possible. Scribes will be painting after Moot on Feb. 29, March 21 and March 28.

Miscellaneous:

• Baronial officers will be meeting with the Bull Pytt officers in Grand Island on March 13. Calien is taking her van so everyone can carpool if they'd like. Location and time will be announced once it is set.
• Directory - tonight is the last night to make changes to your information for the baronial directory. Notify Sabi of any changes.
• Philosophy Night - will be held again in March. Jane will be facilitating the topic: Favors: Why we give them and carry them. Jane will start the conversation ahead of time on the listserve. She will then hand out copies of the discussion the Moot before Philosophy Night to give everyone a week to think about it. We will philosophize during scribal painting.
• Philosophy Night - for April will be hosted by Vasilla. Topic - Religion and the SCA: How does keeping religion out of the SCA affect your persona?
• Deer Tanning - Sashatec has several deer hides he will be tanning. Anyone willing to help will receive some of the leather.
