Seneschal:
- Went over upcoming events on Kingdom Calendar
- There will be no meeting next week. The library has our room reserved for another function.
Treasurer:
- Fighter Practice insurance certificate was returned again from Corporate. This time they wanted the 2004 and 2005 dates on separate forms. Kat is crossing off the 2004 dates and will incorporate dates for next October through December in order to avoid this problem again.
Pursuivant:
MoAS:
- Last week was the London slide show. For those who would like to have the photos on CD, please contact Jane.
- The next A&S night will be card weaving (December 14). Bring a loom, bring some yarn, come learn or teach.
- Would like to have a Show and Tell night at some point in the future.
Campi:
- Campi was taught by Toli this past week how to cut metalwork medallions.
Baronage:
- There will be a meeting of the Crodh Catha at Yule Court regarding, amongst other things, how we want to ally ourselves for Lilies (Mikhail)
- There will be a meeting of artisans, teachers, students, and service providers at Yule Court regarding how we want to ally ourselves for Lilies (Vasilla)
Guilds:
- Music: Practices remaining before Kris Kinder: Dec. 2 and 9. Gwyneth passed out music.
Events:
- Yule Court: A&S competition by Archana - the best thing you've ever done, populace choice, no documentation required. Stone Soup is back on the docket. Don't forget the Kids' Gifts Challenge by Calien.
Miscellaneous:
- Next Fiber Arts meeting is Sunday, Nov. 28 at 3 p.m. Location is to be announced (contact Isadora or Niamh).
- No Crown Tourney bids were received due to the need for the site location Board of Directors to meet in January to determine price of the site. The deadline has been extended until the Board has met and has given us a price. Editor's Note: Other bids are still welcome.
- Dulci Volce will be performing: Dec 17 at 7:30 pm at Eastmont Towers, Dec 19 at 7:30 pm at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. On Dec. 12 in Omaha there will be a workshop held at St. Cecelia's on Spanish monastery music. A performance by a men's monastery group will be held at 7:30 pm that evening with plain chant and Dulci Volce will be singing with them for a couple of songs.
- The Jocelyn Museum currently has a medieval exhibit up through February
- The Silkery is closing it's doors at the end of November. Everything is on sale. After November, they are gone.
- Nebraska Bookstore will have 30% off everything (except text books) on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and will be open until 9 p.m. on those days for the Thanksgiving holiday. Gwyneth says there's a good selection of medieval kids books.
