Officers:

Seneschal:

• Catherine Anne of Appleby is asking for Coronation bids for September 2004.
• Sabi now has Herd Master webpage up and the baronial website is linked to it.
• The Board of Directors has sent out a survey concerning membership and needs opinions. Can complete this online or through hard copy sent in the mail. Hardcopy of the survey is available through Calien.
• Seneschal letters of intent are due the end of April. If you have questions about this position, Calien, Vasilla or Mikhail will happily talk to you about them.

Chronicler: The April Runestaffs are now available. The deadline for submissions for the May issue is April 28.

Pursuivant:

• Gave mostly blank ledger from Gemshorn office to treasurer's office.
• Should be hearing about outstanding submissions in either July or August.
• April 3 is RUSH. There will be heraldic classes offered.

MoAS: Expect to be contacted shortly about your A&S activities. Sashatec will be doing the quarterly report soon.

Treasurer: Will be completing the quarterly report with Kat shortly. The Financial Committee needs to meet soon to vote in new committee members.

Marshal: The new Fighter Practice site/day/time will be announced on April 16. The practices will continue to be held at our current time/location through May.

Archery Marshal: Friday practices will be moving outdoors April 9.

Demo Coordinator: JAV is on the horizon. Set up will have: an Arena, a Seneschal shade fly, a Baronial shade fly, and a Fighter shade fly. There will be 1 or 2 more tents. A Food tent will be there that is private and not open to the public for us to store our stuff and to retreat to when we have a break between shifts.

We need a Food Coordinator for JAV. Perishables must be kept on ice throughout the day.

Split shifts would be great so volunteer for 2 short shifts so you can enjoy the festival as well.

For future JAV's, Katalina would like to hear ideas for "sheep to shawl" style demos.

Since Jim Ballard wasn't able to attend this evening to talk about JAV, Katalina will meet with him outside of Moot and report back.

There will be a demo at East High School on April 23. They are very anxious to see fighters. This can be anytime during the day. Please let Katalina know if you can attend.

Baronage:

• We need Cattle Raids bids. Date reserved with Reeve is Sept 17, 18, 19. Dead line for bids is April 30.
• Lilies Tent - we will be making additional shower benches this year for our volunteerism. We'll need people to volunteer to make these.
• Herd Master Tourney will be April 25th (Sunday). See Angelo for tourney requirements and format. We will have out of barony guests here.
• Lilies Demos/Competitions: if anyone has an idea for an individual or group demo/competition for the Lilies A&S area, please let Mikhail know as soon as possible.

Guilds:

Music: Working on JAV music. Every Thursday in April, and every Thursday in May up to JAV

Scribes: Meeting every 2nd and 4th Thursday at Sabi's house and after every Moot until Lilies.

Events:

Spring Fling: Barony of Lonely Tower, April 24

Herd Master: Barony of Mag Mor, April 25

Miscellaneous:

• Philosophy Night: April 18 "How does keeping religion out of the SCA affect your persona?" - hosted by Vasilla
• Brewers are planning to put up a "tavern" at Lilies to give out tasty beverages to our many many friends (great example of populace largess!). The Mag Mor Brewing Competition will be held at the "tavern" during the week. Please see Jean Michel for details on the competition.
• Populace largess for Lilies is planned: Neck coolers in black and yellow to pass out to people. April 18 will be a sewing night to work on these after Moot (philosophize and sew!). Bring your sewing machines.
• Tent reminder: We've received only $140 in donations so far to put against the $410 that we've spent on the Lilies tent. Please send your donations to Theron (or Kat) with a note indicating that it's for the Lilies Tent.
• Isadora will be hosting Mews Labeling Parties in the near future. Please consider coming and sticking labels on the Mews and having some good conversation in the process.
• Katherine is looking for people who are interested in starting a spinning group. Please speak with her if you are interested in learning and/or participating.
