Moot Minutes
4 October 2005
Seneschal:
- Thank you to Scarlett Keep for the fun September revel! It was a great time.
- Known World Costuming and Rattan Symposium is this coming weekend and should be interesting. Classes being taught both Saturday and Sunday.
- Think about your Baronial A&S entries and get them done!
- Support the Pytt's Conquistador's Folly if at all possible (October 15)
- You may hear rumors about Mag Mor sponsoring another canton. Rest assured that these are merely rumors and we will not be sponsoring any other cantons besides the Pytt.
- Bids for Spring Crown are due to Their Excellencies and Sashatec no later than Oct. 18. We encourage more than one bid to be submitted. Bids need only include: Site location, general budget, # of parking spaces, and tentative site fee. Crown will be held on May 6, 2006.
- Need a bid for Yule Court soon!!! November 1 is the deadline for getting bids in to TE's and Sashatec. Date for Yule Court has not been set so you have options. This is a good event to use as a "starter" event for new event stewards.
- Officer reports are due 10/15/05.
- We are still waiting on UNL to say yes or no on our bid for Cook Pavilion for War Maneuvers. We should be hearing this week on it.
Pursuivant:
Marshall:
- There is a demo tomorrow (Wed) on the UNL campus just north of the Union on the Green Space. Be there and ready by 6 p.m.
- Next week fighter practice moves inside the M&N building.
Archery Marshall:
- Autumn Arrows was last week. Mag Mor did not place in top 3.
- Archery practice will probably be moving indoors soon and possibly switching to Tuesday nights after 9 p.m.
- Robert will be assisting Sukio as an archery contact.
Chronicler:
- Deadline for November Runestaffs is Oct. 27 by 6 p.m.
- October Runestaffs are currently available.
Baronage:

- Largesse is being sent to Coeur d'Ennui's baronial investure. Murdoch will be handling the transport and presentation.
- Congrats to our newest huscarl: Robert!!!
- Get your baronial A&S entries done. Callaghan hopes folks have stuff for his brewing challenge. The winner of the brewing challenge will be the holder of a wonderful traveling trophy that is a Mag Mor tradition: a drinking horn that is embellished by each of the winners. The winner of the challenge will sponsor next year's challenge.
Scribes:
- This Friday's meeting is cancelled due to travel plans for this weekend.
- The next meeting will be announced soon. Scribes will receive a call from Carlos

Miscellaneous:
- The Largess project is progressing. We need to send some of the largess with Murdoch to Coeur d'Ennui's baronial investiture on the 15th. Contact TE's or Katalina if you have largess.
- Halloween: We'll Trick-or-Treating for the Food Bank again. Toli will put up fliers in the neighborhood surrounding Volkmar & Isadora's home. Meet on Oct. 31 at 6 p.m. at Volkmar & Isadora's to get your route. Bring wagons!
- Theron the Bookseller 'inherited' several reams of 11 X 17 paper in white and off-white. If you'd like some, please let him know. It's free.
- Scarlett Keep encourages everyone to attend the demo on Wednesday at UNL on the Green Space. Archana recommends bringing a chair or stool for sitting on as there is no seating on the Green Space.
Baronial A&S Event - October 30, 2005:
- The address for site is published in the current Runestaff.
- Owain currently has the carpet. JM will pick up the carpet and make sure it gets to baronial storage once the event is done.

- JM is handling the fighting.
- Court will happen
- Due to a housefire, Sabi will not be doing the feast. However, there will be meat grilled. Everyone is encouraged to bring a side dish.
- Dancing will be after feast.
- We will be taking site donations and donations for the cost of the meat that will be grilled.
- Natalya strongly encourages EVERYONE to enter. Just need 1 art and 1 science. (editor's note: rules are published in the October Runestaff).
