Moot Minutes

Officers reports
Seneschal:
- Moot in January is moving to Wednesdays. We will still be meeting at Bennett Martin Library.
- Due to conflicts at the library Moot will move to the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays for January, February and March.
- Moot meetings: 1/10, 1/24, 2/14, 2/28, 3/14 and 3/28.
- A&S meetings will be on the 1st Wednesday and 5th Wednesday if there is one.
- A&S meetings: 1/3, 1/31, 2/7, 3/3
Marshal:
- Fighter There will be fighter practice on 12/26/06.
- We are still waiting for the paper work to start fighting on UN-L campus.
- Editor’s note: fighter practice on the 19th of Dec is a go at Easterday Rec starting at 6:45pm.
Archery Marshal:
- There will be practices on all 4 Wednesdays of December at Prairie Bowman (downtown) starting at 8:30pm.
- Our first meeting in January should be the 2nd.
- Editor’s note: Sabi and Aibhilin have checked out the outdoor public range north of Superior on 48th street. It is very nice!
A&S:
- On Tuesday 12/12 there will be a class on tablet weaving. editor’s note: I am told the class went well and much fun and knowledge was had by all that attended.
Herald:
- Over $700 was earned at Yule Court from the raffle, Vasilla’s fabric mall and site donations.
Chronicler:
- Directories were passed out at Yule court. If you have any changes see Master Owain
- Deadline for the next issue is December 28.
Herald:
- At Yule Court Rosa had petitions out for the Barony’s new badges . These badges will be for Arts, Science and the Crodh Catha. Enough signitures were received by the populas and officers that they can be submitted. The are being fast tracked to Kingdom to hopefully get them on the External Letter of Intent that is currently being prepared by Kingdom to go to the Laurel-Sovereign-of-Arms Office.
- The majority of the work on the badges was done by Max VanGleave (sorry if I spelled that wrong).
Scarlett Keep:
- December 7th was there last meeting for this year. A party and pewter casting taught by Toli was the activity.
- They have 5 members currently working on entries for Queen’s Prize
- Extra help from the Barony will be needed for Winter War Maneuvers since it will not be held on campus.
Interest groups:
- Scribes will be meeting 12/15 and 12/29 at 7:30-10pm at Isabeau and Carlo's house 6313 Morrill Ave.
- Music will be practicing 12/14 at 7:30 at Volkmar and Isadora’s house.
- Middle Eastern Drumming had 2 new people join in on the last practice. They will be practicing 12/18 and 1/5/07 starting at 7:30 at Marianna & Scipio’s house. 1926 S. Cotner. They are in need of more drums to practice on. If you don’t have a dumbeck you can lend but drink coffee you can still help out. If you get your coffee in large coffee cans keep the cans and lids to give to Leofwyna.
Baronage report:
- Thanks for a wonderful Yule event. Everyone seem to have a fab time.
- Get your award recommendations into the Crown for 12th Night..
- Their Excellencies Tatjana and Faolan will be stepping down at 12th Night. Their successors will be announced at Kris Kinder.
miscellaneous:
- Leofwyna thanked everyone that helped make Yule Court a wonderful event. She asks that if you have receipts for the event you get them in to her so that the books on the event can be closed. She brought with her the small number of lost and found items from the event.
- Carlos announce that he and Isabeau will be having a New Year’s Eve party at their house starting at 6:30pm BYOB also bring a dessert or a snack to share. There will be a $5 gift exchange if you wish to partsipate. Address is 6313 Morrill. Adult party.
- Deadline for entering Queen’s Prize is 12/31. Find your sponsors and get those entry forms sent in.
- Natalya reminded everyone about her Show and Tell at 12th Night. Bring something you made or something someone made for you and show it off to your friends.
- Natalya has volunteered to be the crash space coordinatior for WWM. If you can put people up for the event please let her know asap.
