Seneschal:
- Recapped officers meeting that was held on Sunday. Brainstormed and reiterated
officer duties
- It's been a busy couple of weeks!
- Do not hesitate to call or ask questions of Sashatec (Editor's note:
can contact Baronage too)
- Kingdom needs a new Minister of Children
Treasurer:
- Reports are done for this quarter
- Coronation is done!
Pursuivant:
- Quarterly report is done and in
- Heraldry quiz deadline is Oct. 27
- Eric the Quiet was made Boga Fyrd at Autumn Arrows!
Fighter Marshal:
- Tomorrow night (Wednesday) is fighter practice at Van Dorn Park This
is a one time only situation.
- Separate issue: shooting a mundane commercial tomorrow night at Van Dorn
Park. Fighters welcome to participate. This is separate from fighter practice!
Chronicler:
- November Runestaff deadline - October 28
- October Runestaffs now available. Gwyneth's recipes from Coronation are
included in this issue.
MoAS:
- Start thinking about Queen's Prize Tourney (January 21, 2005)
- Reports are due soon
Campi:
- Baronial members are invited to come to Campi meetings to teach classes
- Campi has changed their name to Scarlett Keep
Demo Coordinator:
- Thank you for particpating at Ashland Demo! 25 from Lonely Tower and 15
from Mag Mor. Only 9 fighters total so somewhat short in that area. Based
on a JAV style demo.
- Feb 19 - Blue and Gold Banquet being held at St. Andrews
- April 22 - East High Renaissance Faire - need to decide if we'll do this
one or not
Largesse Coordinator:
- Plan for order medallions to be requested from the Crown
Baronage:
- Need bids for Crown by November 15, 2004 (Crown is scheduled for May 5,
2005)
- Winter War Maneuvers is on the calendar for Jan 15. See notes below for
additional information.
- Big thanks for Ashland Demo!
Guilds:
- Music: practicing for Kris Kinder Concert every Thursday except 11/4 and
Thanksgiving.
- Scribes: Meeting 10/14, 10/ 28 and 11/11 at St. Andrews Church. 8pm to close.
Instructions in Runestaff. Special invitation to new illuminators!
Conquistador's Folly:
- October 16
- Baronial Archery Shoot - trailer has been confirmed for transport of the
archery targets to Grand Island
- Need award recs turned in this week!
- JM is the marshal in charge
- Postcards will be mailed out this week to Mag Mor and the Pitt
Winter War Maneuvers:
- Hillary will be event steward
- Location will be the Lancaster Event Center
- Will need a site visit for event steward team
- Site has bleachers, men's and women's locker rooms, show office, concession
stand, on site sales for alcoholic beverages
- No pets allowed
- A tent will be put up for the Privy Chamber
- Site opens at 8 a.m.
- Site fees $5 for member, $8 for non member
- Event center cost $1000
- Anticipated participation: 200 people
Autumn Arrows Recap:
- Mag Mor had 7 archers to represent us
- Well represented by our Champion, Eric
- Recruited archers for the Conquistador's Folly event
