March Warden / Iron Chef - Grimfells - May 2002

On May 4, 2002, Grimfells held their March Warden event which also featured the second Iron Chef competition. The secret ingredient this year was Goose. Competition was stiff but our team came out victorious! Here are some shots taken from an on-looker's perspective of the winning team.

Bull Dogs at work The Bull Dogs were comprised of Mistress Juliana, Lord Duncan MacPherson, Lord Eoan, Voevodi (Baron) Mikhail, Mistress Tatjana, HL Faolan, and our missing in action member was Mistress Gwyneth who couldn't attend, but whose research was instrumental.

The presentation for the judges The judges are gathered and listen to the documentation (which includes information not only about the dishes themselves, but also the humors (as in medieval physiology) involved in the decision making process prior to the baking and cooking of this feast.)
the feast of goose The presentation of the goose dishes by the Bull Dogs.
oven door Another view of the bread oven. This oven bent the first axle and almost demolished the spoked wheels that carried it just the day before the competition.
Mikhail's respite Mikhail takes a well-deserved rest with one of his biggest fans.
