Inside my pavilion we have space for our large clothes chest. This is a large wooden box on feet that I have painted using motifs from Russian illumination and Arabic rugs. It is large enough to hold a week's worth of clothing for both myself and Mikhail (that's a lot of clothes!).
This is the period means of storing one's clothing. They didn't utilize closets and hangars, so trunks were used to put clothes in for storage (what few clothes they had).
